ABOUT THE ALBUM

Legendary downtown music master Daniel Carter and drum wiz Federico Ughi continue their close collaboration that began two decades ago with a brand new quartet album also featuring Texas-born clarinet player Patrick Holmes (a brilliant up-and-coming member of the New York downtown scene) and producer, guitarist and composer Stelios Mihas.

This recording catches them in an informal setting at the studio, during one of their regular rehearsals in Brooklyn, NY. These sessions have been known to last for 10+ hours. The particularly high quality of the music on that specific day inspired them to present this recording to their audience. This project is being released exclusively to supporters of the Forward Festival and to members of Inside The Studio (Bandcamp).
